Fun in the Tub with Tubby Table

My daughter loves bath time. Luckily, I don’t need to persuade her to get into the tub, but if she ever needed a little coaxing, the Tubby Table would be the perfect answer. When I opened it up, what I noticed right away is that the table is made of a high quality plastic, strong with some weight to it. And the box included clear directions, so I put it together in just under 10 minutes.

Once Skye got in the water with the Tubby Table, she started playing with it right away. She liked filling the cups with water and putting her little duckies in the cups to watch them float. She also was naming all of the shapes, “Square, circle…” etc. Each cup has a number on it, so you can use them as a teaching tool for learning numbers. I do wish the numbers stood out more, perhaps in a different color, so my toddler would notice them easier. While she was distracted playing, I could easily wash her hair, which normally is a bit of a struggle. She was so engaged, she didn’t mind that I was dumping buckets of water on her head to rinse out the shampoo. That’s a first!

The non-slip cushion it comes with is of high quality too, and it sticks to the bottom of your tub with suction cups, as does the table. If you have a non-slip liner suctioned down, you will have to remove it first to use the table and cushion.

The Tubby Table is large, so it does take up some real estate in the tub, and for storing away for later use. But that is one of the reasons it is so engaging, it has enough room that my daughter can use it as a table for all of her other bath toys too. Overall, I was truly impressed with the play table, and my daughter loved it so much, she did not want to get out the tub! In the meantime, I will just store the table in the bathtub to dry. I don’t have enough space for it under my sink, and I plan on using it for every bath time going forward!

The winner of numerous awards such as the Creative Child Awards and the Tillywig Toy Awards, the Tubby Table can be found at Diapers.com or YoYo.com for $39.99.
