Wanderlust 108 Los Angeles—The World’s Only Mindful Triathlon

IMG_1883.jpg

This triathlon brought the community (and my step-sis and I) together for a 5K run/walk, a dj-powered yoga session, and guided meditation at the Santa Monica Pier. Following the triathlon, we perused the Kula Market of local artisans, got a powerful palm reading by a fortune teller (whom I now know with the power of hindsight, mine ended up being spot on) and refueled at their True North Cafe with a healthy salad and kombucha. From dancing with DJs on the main stage to trying something new like hooping and acroyoga, there’s plenty to do when you’re not on your mat. There were nationally recognized teachers, speakers and musical talent, beautiful LA weather, and good vibes all around, which made for a fun-filled day!

When we checked in at the booth to get our swag bags, we ended up receiving premium swag bags which included a portable lightweight yoga mat, a SWELL water bottle, among some other items all in a cute tote. The portable mat was key so we didn’t have to carry our own heavy yoga mats around all day.

We had a great spot reserved near the main stage —in a sea of yoga mats!
