ATTN Angelenos: Here’s How to Relax (in Your Car)

It’s not easy to relax in LA traffic, especially when you got kids in tow. But follow these tips and you’ll be chill in no time. Baby in back might even like it too.

  1. First, be sure to clean out any clutter from your car.

  2. Open your sunroof (if you have one) and let the sun shine in. The fresh air and sun will give you a nice dose of oxygen and Vit D, which will instantly boost your mood…

  3. Turn on your seat warmers to heat up your back and relieve any tension.

  4. Keep a little box of Good Day Chocolate CALM in your center console and pop one in when the mood strikes. They use milk chocolate plus a blend of amino acids, vitamins & botanicals to make a relaxing non-drowsy causing treat.

  5. Turn on new age music - On SiriusXM, it’s Channel 68 (Spa). On Pandora, it’s Spa radio station.

  6. Plug in a scented car diffuser, I recommend the Aroma Roam from Saje. My fave oil for the car is Spa Spirit. It’s not too powerful for such a small space and my kids actually love it, which I can’t say about most aromatherapy oils.

  7. Practice breathing exercises for 1 minute.

Ahhhh…and you're now ready to take on the crazy LA traffic with ease.
